2018 – Present – PIPIT, Inc. was awarded a three-year Social Economic Development Strategies (SEDS) grant “T.E.N.D.A. – Traditions Empowering Natives in Developing Arts”, from the Administration for Native Americans (ANA). The project is to develop a retail store and support the establishment of fifteen (15) businesses that produce cultural products and provide jobs that allow the youth and young adults that are cultural practitioners to engage in culturally significant employment activities which will increase the community’s capacity to preserve the Chamorro language and culture.  The retail and e-commerce store will serve as the outlet for the products produced by the businesses as well as produce and sell products.
